My First Book: Photographing New York CIty - Digital Field Guide

For a long time I've wanted to get into authoring books. I love teaching and instructing, and I love to see my work used in new ways. Today, I'm really excited to announce that my first book has been published. It's called Photographing New York City - Digital Field Guide. I wrote it with Jeremy Pollack

So, may I present, Photographing New York City - Digital Field Guide:

I have tons of folks to thank. First and foremost, my dear wife and partner in my life Nancy, without her support and encouragement this never would have happened. Most excellent photographer Jeremy Pollack, for the rescue. My good friends at Wiley Publishing, for sticking with me! And for the kick in the you-know-where, which got me started, from Rick Sammon. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine how much effort is involved, and also how great the thrill of having been involved in such a project. I've definitely caught the writing bug, and I plan on doing more books, so "stay tuned" :)

Enjoy (writing a book) photography,

- Andy
